Raindrop Technique combines the art of aromatherapy with the techniques of Vita Flex and massage in the application of essential oils to various areas of the body.
This technique was created by the Young Living Founder, Gary Young in the 1980’s and draws from his experience with Native American wellness traditions and provides a new way of aligning the body and mind.
This process provides a revolutionary method of bringing balance and harmony to the body – physically, mentally and emotionally. The process lasts about an hour but the benefits may last a week or more!
How did RainDrop get its name? Glad you asked! The oils are dropped from 6ish inches above the receivers body because it is thought that the oils being interacting with the persons electric field before the oils even touch the skin which enhances the electromagnetic properties of the oils.
This is a process utilizing 9 Young Living Oils applied in a specific order and a specific method. Those oils include:
Thyme – Antiseptic, immune enhancing and totally supports the bodies natural defense mechanisms. Thyme has been used to combat the anthrax bacteria and is high in phenylpropanoids.
Basil – This relaxes both the voluntary and involuntary muscles. Voluntary muscles are the motor muscles (arms, legs, back, neck, etc). Basil is mentally invigorating and is used for releasing tension in the body and is high in phenolic ethers.
Peppermint – This is kinda the gangbuster of oils in Raindrop because it supports the digestive, respiratory and nervous systems. It is detoxifying to the liver and is a synergistic oil that improves the other oils when used in combination. This oil is high in phenolics and 9% sesquiterpenes.
Oregano – Powerful antimicrobial with a 99% kill rate against streptococcus.
Wintergreen – This power packed oil supports our joints and skeletal structure. This oil also helps the body produce natural cortisone which has no side effects as compared to synthetic cortisone.
